"A Dark Brown Dog"

Before reading the story I wrote in my blog that I hope that it would thrill every fibre of my body, but I didn't mean that I expected this story to be so cruel and sad. I thought that it would be a thought-provoking story about the lost dog or something of that kind, but I didn't think that such a short story would give me food for thought about my existence on this planet. After my reading "A Dark Brown Dog" I can definitely say without any exaggerations that I reconsider my priorities about happy life. I recommend to read this story to everybody. These few pages and half an hour spent on them will force you to look at our life from the other side. It is not a story of the hour, but a story of all time.

Let books be your dining table,
And you shall be full of delights
Let them be your mattress
And you shall sleep restful nights.

Unfortunately, I am not much of a bookreader, and moreover I can't say that I am a bookworm, but sometimes I spend the better part of the evening with a book in my hands. I prefer to read classical literature, that is why I am fond of A. Chekhov and J. Austin, but this time I decided to try something new, something that I've never read before. "A Dark Brown Dog" - this is the short story written by Stephen Crane, that I am eager to read now. I hope that this story will thrill every fibre of my body and touch the deepest riches of my soul.

While I was creating my own blog, it occurred to me that it would be a rather interesting idea. At any rate, I think that it will cause stir among the students. Each of us will be in touch with the rest of our group, other groups and even teachers from the University. I hope that there won't be any difficulties whiсh may drive us to the edge of endurance or interfere with our pleasure to communicate with each other, share our ideas and thoughts.
